Ann Asher attended UCLA and graduated with a BS in Nursing in 1993. She joined the United States Air Force and attended Officer Training School. Ann served as an active duty Air-Force Nurse for 7 years in San Antonio TX, Lakenheath England, and Las Vegas NV. Earned MS in Nursing Practice from the University of New Mexico in 2004 and, recently, earned Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University. With over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner, Ann is experienced in health and wellness, and weight loss management including weight loss maintenance post bariatric surgery. Ann is a Certified Mindful Eating facilitator and firmly believes that mindful eating techniques can be cultivated to assist individuals in weight loss maintenance. She is married to Lt Col (ret) Doug Asher and is the proud mother of 2 dogs, Lucas and Cody.
